Merci Alma.
Mrs Roots rencontre Amandine Gay

My illustration or whatever you wanna call it was inspired by an article found on http://africaisdonesuffering.com/
« Afro Feminism doesn’t say it’s a man’s world but that it’s a world for everybody. And that a woman’s ability to raise children as well as run a business is not impossible and both should be viewed with respect and dignity. A woman should not have to emulate a man in order to be respected. A woman with courage and boldness does not have a “masculine sprit” but rather has a feminine spirit. In essence, Afro Feminism endeavours to elevate the position of women in Africa from that of the oppressed to that of the empowered. » – Charmaine Awolaja
